Liz is the aesthetic coordinator at Papillon Medical. Working closely with the physicians and medical aestheticians, she ensures that guests have the best experience possible. Liz spent eight years in restaurant management but her passion for the medical field pulled her back to school in 2017, so she could pursue a diploma in Medical Administration. Working at Papillon Medical has given her the perfect work-life balance, and she now gets to work in an industry she loves- dermatology and skin care. Liz loves providing a level of care to patients that is unlike anywhere else in order to ensure everyone stepping foot in Papillon Medical leaves feeling like their best self. During her free time, she loves to spend her time outdoors with her son playing pretend.

Damariz was born in Mexico City, but has been lucky enough to live in Cancun, Hawaii and now her forever home Canada! Damariz is a trained MOA with a unit clerk specialty, but her passion is medical aesthetics. After eight years in the administration field, she took the plunge and went back to school for aesthetics. At Papillon Medical, she provides services to each area of the clinic. You can see her on the front lines at reception, helping the physicians run the acne clinic, and also providing medical aesthetic treatments. During her free time, Damariz loves to have mother-daughter dates with her twin girls. They love to go on spontaneous adventures and family road trips.

Damariz’s favorite treatment to perform is microneedling. Her favorite treatment to receive is the morpheus8.

Vanessa grew up in Northern BC where she worked as a Nursing Unit Clerk in Pediatrics, Maternity, Emergency, and Cancer Care. She moved to Calgary in 2018 to explore more opportunities and get away from the harsher northern winters.

She went back to school and received her certificate as a Medical Office Assistant, and in 2020 joined the specialized team here at Papillon Medical. Vanessa loves working in an office setting alongside our physicians, medical aestheticians, and management. Her attention to detail and top-notch organization skills ensure smooth service in the clinic for both staff and patients.

In her spare time, she enjoys going out to the mountains and visiting BC to see family and enjoy the beautiful Canadian landscape.

Despite her name, Philadelphia was born in South Africa and moved to Canada for school. Her experience ranges from hairdressing and makeup, to medical office assistant and unit clerk. She has always emphasized the importance of caring for oneself and others. With a particular interest in skin care and their disorders, she says Papillon Medical has provided a place for her to be “efficient, fabulous and effective”. Both sides of Philadelphia’s family have been deeply affected by skin disorders such as melanoma, so Papillon is her happy medium between her two passions- medical aid and cosmetology. She hopes to highlight the importance of sun protection to any patient seeking skin care advice, making her favourite products in office the SkinCeuticals- Physical Fusion sunscreen or any of the tinted sunscreens from TIZO.

In her free time, you can find Philadelphia weight training, partner dancing, singing karaoke or hosting movie marathons with her childhood best friends.

Coming from Manitoba, Sandra here is the unicorn of our clinic.

She loves a peaceful hike. Spending her weekends with her beloved son; her 2-year-old golden retriever, Archie.

Having over 6 years of experience in both hospital and specialist care, she has assisted thousands of patients. Throughout the years Sandra says one thing stays consistent: how valuable empathetic and attentive service really is.

She feels her most confident when she is simultaneously comfortable. Making her favorite products in office our Jane Iredale liquid mineral foundation, getting glam has never been better for the health of her skin!

Jamie joined our team in 2018 and has been a valued team member ever since. As our Patient Co-ordinator and MOA, Jamie manages the flow of our busy office with great enthusiasm and efficiency. Jamie loves spending time with her kids and family, and spending time outside any season of the year. Give her any book and she will read it.  Jamie loves coming to work and enjoys interacting with the staff and patients!

Patricia comes to us with many years of medical office experience. You will see Patricia on the front desk of our Dermatology and Medical Aesthetics clinic, as our MOA and Billing Clerk. In her spare time, Patricia enjoys the outdoors in all of its wonder. She loves going for hikes in the snow or on a sunny day, and will generally walk anywhere! Patricia loves caring for others and has learned that smiles are in fact contagious. It brings her such joy to give and receive a smile!
