Whether she’s traversing new horizons on her travel escapades, setting up camp in the great outdoors, or simply basking in the joy of quality time with her furry friend Ollie, the sassy feline companion “Una,” and her two delightful daughters, Meri’s zest for life is truly infectious.

Her dynamic approach to balancing the intricacies of clinic management with the joys of life’s simple pleasures makes Meri an invaluable member of our team. Dannii has been with Papillon Medical for over seven years in a variety of roles. Since 2018, she has had the pleasure of managing interdisciplinary care as our Referral Coordinator.

Born in Calgary, but raised all over Canada, Dannii returned in 2013 to further her education. Combining her love of language and interest in healthcare, she pursued Medical Transcription through the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT). She is fluent in doctor scratch and uniquely suited to matching the expertise of physicians with the needs of patients.

When Dannii’s not at her desk, she enjoys spontaneous adventures and fantasizing about tropical vacations (she sometimes does this at her desk). She is a helicopter cat mom to the most darling rescue kitty (Molly), and has a toxic relationship with jogging.

Chandel has been an integral part of Papillon Medical for over seven years, managing both marketing and human resources with creativity and care. She graduated from the University of Lethbridge in 2015 with a Management degree, majoring in Human Resources and minoring in International Management and Marketing. Chandel thrives on designing engaging content for the clinic and loves working closely with EMSELLA, Emsculpt Neo, Sculptique, and EMFACE patients—helping them feel their best. She finds the ever-evolving aesthetic industry fascinating and is passionate about staying on top of new trends and technologies. Outside of the clinic, Chandel enjoys spending time outdoors and dreams of cultivating her own big garden someday. She shares her home with her beloved cat, Bridgette, who keeps things interesting. Whether she’s curating a campaign or consulting with patients, Chandel brings heart, vision, and a creative spark to everything she does.

Liz is our dedicated Aesthetic Coordinator and Skincare Specialist here at Papillon Medical. With extensive knowledge in the field of aesthetics and a deep passion for skincare, Liz brings both expertise and heart to every patient interaction. Her commitment to excellent customer service and personalized care truly sets her apart.

She loves working one-on-one with patients to build customized aesthetic plans that align with their unique goals. Whether it’s recommending the right skincare routine or guiding patients through their treatment journey, Liz is always focused on helping others feel confident in their skin.

Outside of work, Liz enjoys a full and busy life with her wonderful partner and their two children. Together, they share a home filled with love, laughter, and a few furry family members—including their loyal Golden Retriever, Jimmy, and their cat with big personality, Carole B.

Meet Lejla, a joyful individual who brings a positive and energetic attitude to our clinic. She has a passion for learning and a love for the outdoors, which she shares with her furry friend Ollie, who she enjoys going on adventures with.

Currently, Lejla is finishing up her studies at Mount Royal University, where she is pursuing a degree in Registered Nursing (RN). As the first person in her family born in Canada, she takes pride in her accomplishments and strives to be an excellent role model for her loved ones.

At our clinic, Lejla thrives in her position as she gets to fulfill a variety of different roles and skills. She especially enjoys learning more about women’s health!

Outside of work and school, you can find Lejla exploring the great outdoors, whether it be hiking, camping, or just spending time in nature. Her happy-go-lucky personality and love for life are contagious and make her an asset to our team.

Lejla’s favorite treatment is the Fraxel Laser

Despite her name, Philadelphia was born in South Africa and moved to Canada for school. Her experience ranges from hairdressing and makeup, to medical office assistant and unit clerk. She has always emphasized the importance of caring for oneself and others. With a particular interest in skin care and their disorders, she says Papillon Medical has provided a place for her to be “efficient, fabulous and effective”. Both sides of Philadelphia’s family have been deeply affected by skin disorders such as melanoma, so Papillon is her happy medium between her two passions- medical aid and cosmetology. She hopes to highlight the importance of sun protection to any patient seeking skin care advice, making her favourite products in office the SkinCeuticals- Physical Fusion sunscreen or any of the tinted sunscreens from TIZO.

In her free time, you can find Philadelphia weight training, partner dancing, singing karaoke or hosting movie marathons with her childhood best friends.

Coming from Manitoba, Sandra here is the unicorn of our clinic.

She loves a peaceful hike. Spending her weekends with her beloved son; her 2-year-old golden retriever, Archie.

Having over 6 years of experience in both hospital and specialist care, she has assisted thousands of patients. Throughout the years Sandra says one thing stays consistent: how valuable empathetic and attentive service really is.

She feels her most confident when she is simultaneously comfortable. Making her favorite products in office our Jane Iredale liquid mineral foundation, getting glam has never been better for the health of her skin!

Sandra’s favorite service at Papillon is the Hydrafacial.

Originally from Chile, South America, Javiera brings both warmth and energy to the Papillon team. While she jokingly claims she’s “not a drama queen,” she did earn her school’s very first drama award, which is a fun fact that perfectly captures her vibrant personality. With a degree as a Medical Office Assistant, Javiera has found her passion in the aesthetics industry. Growing up in a home where skin health wasn’t a priority, she loves that her role allows her to learn about proper skincare, and pass that knowledge on to her son to help protect his skin for the future.

Outside of the clinic, Javiera enjoys salsa dancing, spending time with her fiancé, son, and her two French bulldogs, Chester and Vinnie. Whether she’s soaking up the sun (always with her sunscreen!) or finding joy in a freshly cleaned space, she brings positivity to everything she does.
