Dr. Stella Jansen van Rensburg is the Founder and CEO of Papillon Medical. She graduated with her Bachelor Degree of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Pretoria, South Africa in 2001. Her practice consists largely of Preventative medicine. She believes that you can look and feel your best at any age. Dr. Stella Jansen van Rensburg is proud to offer over 20 years of experience in aesthetics and minor procedures.

Dr. Al-Yousif is an established family physician. She has a special interest in disease prevention and supporting the body’s natural healing abilities to reverse chronic diseases utilizing a plant-based healing approach. She also has a special interest in women’s health and family planning, as well as child health.

She is very passionate about her practice and she strives to help patients achieve optimum health not just physically but mentally and spiritually as well.

Dr. Bahn Al-Yousif is proud to offer over 25 years of medical experience.

Dr. Zwanepoel was born and raised on a farm in sunny South Africa. It was there that she developed a dream of helping people on their path of health and prevention. Completing her education provided a fantastic opportunity for developing exceptional surgical skills and plenty of hours of hands-on patient care.

She then gained further experience in pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, trauma, general surgery, psychiatry, internal medicine and dermatology while working in a large urban hospital, a rural hospital complex in South Africa and the UK.

In 2003, Dr. Zwanepoel and her husband moved to Thompson, Manitoba, Canada were she worked in general practice, obstetrics, as hospitalist and in the Emergency Room for 4 years. They fell in love with the friendly, clean and safe Canadian lifestyle and decided to settle down in Calgary. These 10 years of practicing medicine served as a great foundation for Dr. Zwanepoel to realize her passion for treating patients with skin conditions. After the birth of her third child, she completed a Diploma in Practical Dermatology and dermoscopy through the University of Wales.

Dr Zwanepoel now enjoys seeing patients for skin cancer screening utilizing dermoscopy, treating acne, treating patients with migraine and hyperhidrosis using Botox and helping patients achieve healthy and youthful skin.

Her passions in life are spending time in the mountain with her husband who started this wonderful journey with her in 1994, raising their 3 children and anything to do with dermatology.

Dr. Fourie was born in South Africa where he received his initial medical training. He relocated to Canada and is currently a Family Physician with a special interest in Aesthetic Medicine and Skin and Skin Disorders. He is enjoying sharing his expertise with his patients here.

Dr. Jurie Fourie is proud to offer over 11 years of medical experience.

Bretton McMurdo is a dedicated RN Aesthetic Injector who has been working at  Papillon Medical Dermatology for over three years. Known for her meticulous approach and keen eye for detail, Bretton specializes in delivering personalized aesthetic treatments that enhance natural beauty. Her expertise includes administering injectables like PRP, Botox, and dermal fillers, women’s health services, and Morpheus8 treatments. Bretton is always prioritizing patient safety and satisfaction. Her commitment to continuing education and staying updated with the latest advancements ensures that her patients receive the highest quality of care.

Jamie joined our team in 2018 and has been a valued team member ever since. As our Patient Co-ordinator and MOA, Jamie manages the flow of our busy office with great enthusiasm and efficiency. Jamie loves spending time with her kids and family, and spending time outside any season of the year. Give her any book and she will read it.  Jamie loves coming to work and enjoys interacting with the staff and patients!

Jaime’s favorite treatment is Laser Hair Removal.

Crystal was born and raised in British Columbia , she began her career in the 1990s in hairdressing and spa services before taking time off to focus on her family. Driven by a passion for skincare and helping clients feel their best, she returned to school in 2015, earning certifications in Relaxation Massage and a Clinical Aesthetics Diploma. As a Medical Aesthetic Consultant and Laser Technician at Papillon Medical, Crystal specializes in guiding clients through aesthetic treatments, combining her expertise with a personalized approach to achieve optimal results.

Outside the clinic, Crystal enjoys spending time with her family and dog, exploring the outdoors and mountains, gardening, travelling, and immersing herself in new cultures. Crystal is currently working on learning Spanish. Her warm, approachable personality and dedication to client care make her a trusted partner in any aesthetic journey.

Her favorite service at Papillon Medical are the injectables, and she swears by the Color Science Brush-On SPF as a skincare essential.

Eve Egely is a passionate and dedicated professional in the field of medical aesthetics, driven by a deep commitment to helping individuals look and feel their best. N.J is a Holistic Nutritionist, C.H.N.C., with over a decade of experience specializing in women’s health. She blends evidence-informed nutrition with holistic wisdom and lifestyle support to help women build lifelong habits that support energy, hormonal health, digestion and stress resilience – empowering a vibrant life.

She believes meaningful change comes from small, consistent shifts that help women reconnect with their bodies. Her work is rooted in a bio-individual approach, recognizing that every woman’s needs and health story are unique.

Outside her clinical work, N.J is inspired by movement – yoga, pilates, long walks and dancing purely for joy. She loves spending time with her family and her two fur babies, a Yorkie and a Chihuahua. She is also a passionate traveler and finds that nature, music and mindful living continually enriches her life.
